As COVID-19 continues to spread, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope you’re in good spirits and health! Right now, we’re doing everything possible to sustain daily operations and provide services to our community. Now, more than ever, our community needs us.
Meet Josie – NP (L) and Fri - RN (R). They are doing everything that they can to help during this crisis – working with Health & Edu 4 All International, donating medical supplies, and taking care of those coming through their hospital doors every day in CLT and MD respectively. They are also helping in coordinating volunteers working in various communities in CMR.
COVID-19 is uprooting lives. Right now, you can help by making a small donation!
As COVID-19 continues to destroy lives across the world, Anglophones in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon are suffering from armed conflict and the fury of the virus. To the dismay of aid workers, humanitarian flights, as well as commercial flights, has been banned by the government. This is making our efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.
While fighting to curb the spread of the virus, we continue to help girls across the two regions by providing them with essential menstrual health solutions, masks, and other tools to fight the virus. Given that Periods don't pause during a pandemic, we continue to make and distribute both reusable pads and masks to the needy, especially those hiding in bushes due to the ongoing conflict in Cameroon. At the moment, we are sewing sanitary pads and masks for those in need, as well as for medical personnel.
Join us in celebrating a dedicated "front-liner" in the face of COVID-19. Dr. Ngwashi Christabel is a Cameroonian medical doctor with experience providing healthcare, especially in conflict-affected areas. She is a member of the World Health Organization’s Global Health Workforce Network-Youth Hub, which addresses challenges that students and early career professionals face entering the Health and Social Sector labor market.
Just a small token of gratitude for the enormous acts of heroism - Rachel is working hard in Limbe, SWR, in helping those affected by COVID-19.
We at Health & Education 4 All International, appreciate you for being there when your patients needed you most, not just to save lives but to provide a comforting hug.
Keep up the great work.
